Originally from Long Island, Josh Corwin is a Violist based in Buffalo where he serves professionally as both a performer and teacher. He moved to the area after completing his Master's in Viola Performance at the University of Delaware and two undergraduate degrees at SUNY Fredonia in Viola Performance and Physics. After spending his second summer at the Chautauqua Institution's instrumental program, Josh is feeling very excited to be starting his first year as a teaching artist at Buffalo String Works! When he's not playing viola, Josh can be found playing jazz piano and reading books by Kurt Vonnegut.
